So i made it home, all 75 miles... With one small issue... The car will DIE if i push the clutch in and coast randomly... More so at high speeds (as in the freeway at 75 MPH...) I thought it was while driving it hard.. but it did it in town at two stop lights...
I'm sure the idle just needs a bump up, and the Osiris tune on the 11th should fix it...

Any way to adjust it till then... i look like an idiot everytime it does... LOL

And, the 3.33 pulley, isnt all that impressive... You dont feel much till it really revs to about 5K...
The 3.12 pulley will go on next week.. unless I can talk myself into the 2.87 before the 11th... But I will DD this car, and it needs to last a while still...

And..
the AF ratio will only be 11.5/1 at WOT correct? cause cruising at 70 at about 2800-3100 RPM's its at about 13 or so, meaning not pushing the gas pedal very far.

I'm pretty sure this is correct.. but...

You should be 14.7 at cruise and 11.5 at WOT. Your aux pump has a vacuum connection, right? If so check it out and make sure it's working properly -- it shouldn't be boosting the fuel pressure in vacuum. If everything checks out and there are no mechanical issues at play, Osiris will be able to line up your A/F.

I don't think you can do any smaller pulleys with the stock injectors, I sure wouldn't.

The 2.87 is a lot of fun though.

Let the revs get down to 2k before you push the clutch in and it won't die. Tune will fix.

3.12 is ok. 2.87 is where it's at. It wo'nt change anything about it being a DD or not. You do'nt drive the car to work in boost anywyas. Cruise won't change.

2.87 isn't any more dangerous than a 3.12 if tuned properly.

I'm going to stay with the 3.12 for now... I'm sure I will go to the 2.87 eventually... but for now I'm set on the 3.12 (and already have it).

I'm sure the 2.87 would be more fun...

keep in mind to get another belt when u switch to 2.87 pulley. also as someone else mentioned, you might max out ur injectors. the MAF as well might max out.

GL with ur project.

I got some 600cc DW's and new pump to go with the 3.12 pulley... The 3.33 belt should fit...

Grab those 600cc DW's a walboro 255 and slap that 2.87 in there. I was bored with my 3.12 on my drive home from getting tuned. I'm making 414whp with daily driver ability on my 2.87. My exhaust is actually what keeps me from daily driving my car during the summer (too loud). The care really wakes up with the 2.87

i had the 3.12 pulley belt on my 2.87 pulley, and the tensioner was at its max. so i still suggest you go with a smaller belt.

like mentioned above, go ahead and get the HPX maf before your first tune that way they won' thave to do a wild tune change when you switch to a smaller pulley. You will need the hpx maf for the 2.87.
