Wow! I'm excited! I'll be following this one for sure!
Might even sell my Vortech and do this kit in a year or two..... I'd love to run a Canadian made kit!

Well, I had just a bit of spare time today and got back to this. A few more pictures, keep in mind that this is very rough, with a bunch of pieces in a short section. This is the passenger side:
I am very happy about this, I can use the internal gates/actuators because I am able to push the turbo far enough back:
Passenger side will work out well also, but that is for another day:
So far things are looking very good. There will not be a need to "massage" piping, or make special tools to get to some of the bolts. I am making sure that all nuts/bolts are easily accessible with a common wrench or socket.
The actuators will also be very easy to change if it has to be done down the road. Clearance is great also.

damn it sasha, make my twin 5557's!
also, ttfort, the water isn't an issue.
This last weekend i took my g35 to texas. 1200 mile round trip. My turbo setup doesn't allow even the long piping that sasha includes to move the air filter up higher. My air filter is on the same level as that cross member so with my lowering kit it is literally 3" off the ground.
When i left it was pouring rain which turned to ice and then a huge snow storm. It took 14 hours to get home and my front bumper was pushing snow and ice the whole way. I had no problems with water in the filter. I did have ice packed up into my oil cooler though.

What is this turbo comparable to? What platforms use these?
