Twin turbo build fabrication/pics

I should have some good updates by the end of this week. I am shipping one ST kit out this week and packing up another, that is priority at the moment.
Looking at my recent PM's, it sounds like a bunch of you are sending me your tax returns...
I should also mention that I have looked in to some other turbos for the ST application. It looks like the Turbonetics (I know) T4 .96 a/r 78mm turbo would work just fine, as it has an S compressor cover.
Not sure what that turbo would do, but the GT42R has a 76mm compressor wheel....

The Hurricane 7868 is larger than the GTK1000 (76mm vs 78mm compressor wheel)
Either would be a direct bolt on if upgrading from 6262 T4 (VAS)
GT4202R has a 74.7mm compressor wheel..I think.
EDIT: Made a mistake, the GT-K 1000 comes with a 4" V-band turbine outlet, so not a direct bolt on.
THe 7868 does come in a 3" V-band T4 configuration.

the 7868 is only rated at under 800hp, while the GTX is rated at 1000, so while the compressor might be a touch bigger, its making a lot less HP.
I was looking at the compressor cover size. You can easily make a 4" Vband that tapers to 3" exhaust. I guess you are thinking about people wanting to change turbos in the future.
If that 4204r fit, that would be the choice over any of those Turbonetics.

Forgot about this one..
You are right, I did not look at the HP ratings. I assumed that since it is a larger compressor wheel that it should be rated for a bit more. I am not worried about the turbine size and making an adapter to go from 4" V-band down to 3" pipe diameter. The issue is the larger (diameter) compressor covers.
I would like to stay with an S compressor cover at most. I have seen on a couple of sites that they sell the 7675 (rated at 1160hp) with an S compressor cover. I will have to look in to this a bit further. I don't think they do, and I think it is a missprint, but it's worth a phone call.
When somebody maxes out the 6765 T4 .96 a/r I will come up with something in order to get more power with a larger turbo

This is only because PTE discontinued the 6262 T4 in a .82 housing, the .96 was not ever available either.
