Default Vortech... but which exhaust??

So I'm going built motor with a Vortech setup with 800cc injectors 928 impeller and 2.87 pulley, and my aim is 500Whp+

at the moment I have the Stillen true dual 2x2.5" exhaust installed.
and I've read several times on several threads that smaller exhaust is better for a supercharger setup, because it makes backpressure = higher boost

my question is, should I re-install the OEM exhaust back on, to make 500+hp or keep the stillen on?

and also anything else I should keep in mind to reach 500+ ??

Thank you guys in advance

Just because your boost is higher doesn't mean you're power is..

What compression ratio are you going with for the engine? Consider getting cams??
If i were you I'd stick with the stillen exhaust.

CR is 9:1

I have been thinking about cams... I was little unsure about driving 1000miles untuned with upgraded cams to my tuner

You want CFM not psi the more air in and out with the correct a/f and timing, the more power you will get.
I have a stillen td and love it.

Not more power if your trapping the air in there. The more air u put in, the more you gotta let out. Keep the stillen, and get test pipes and headers. You'll be golden. And while your at it, get a higher flowing lower plenum and either the kenetix manifold or the motordyne spacer. You WILL notice the difference. Especially with the vortech

think u need to do some more research..i know where your going with that but still you need to flow exhaust and the stillen is much better than the stock...I ran stock headers, berk test pipes, motordyne xyz w/resonator, nismo s tune mid and tail section....sounded sick and worked great with what i had

which ems are you running?..id go smaller than those 800's, more along the lines of 600cc's, those are overkill and might cause issues with the car starting up correctly on cold or hot starts..just my 2 cents...
