Default AMM Oil Pan Spacer Fail...

I've been thinking about how the oil must be sloshing around the bottom of my pan even though it's now deeper and holds an extra quart. When I fitted it and the pick up pipe extender, the pressed steel plate that sits further up wouldn't fit back over the pick up with out fouling the sides. Did anyone else have trouble fitting this or just not bother and leave it off?

It's not fitted at the mo on mine and although it's done many 1000's miles since, I'll be tracking it soon and don't want it starving of oil mid bend, me thinks it won't like that!

Thanks, Cookie

We grind the stock piece to enable it to be used with oil pan spacers. It doesn't take a lot to make it fit.

I bought longer screws and spacers to drop the baffle lower.

I did this. Just notched it.
