Default Calling all HKS EVC VI owners...

What does your display ready in terms of PSI @ idle? Had the car on the dyno yesterday and we couldn't tune the car because of vaccum leaks. We spent most of the day chasing these leaks down, however we also had a problem with the EVC controlling boost then once we solved all the leaks (or so we think). Whatever boost we set the controller @ the car would actually make about 3-4psi more, which is one of 2 things, still a leak somewhere with the signal the controller is on (which it is "t'd" off the brake booster line, or the controller is bad. Right now my controller display reads anywhere from 9.1-9.5 psi @ idle. Can anyone confirm if that is the norm?

The reading at idle does not look right. My car has been down quite a while for my latest round of mods, but if I remember correctly, my meter showed vacuum at idle (a "-" boost reading).

Always in a vac at idle, in fact I wont hit ) boost unless I step into it a little.

Anyone with a poorly tuned Utec will always know when they go from - to + boost.

Sorry I didn't clarify that. It reads -9.1 to -9.5 psi at idle (vacuum).

1st of all, you getting any SES lights? Also, what's your block setup for 700whp?

I can't remember exactly what my idle is but I wanna say somewhere between -5 to -8. I'm do for a meet-up this weekend so I'll make sure to remember and post my actual numbers.

[my 411]
I have a Osiris tune. My high boost is 9psi at a little over 400whp and low is 6 psi which I hardly ever run anymore.

My idle was -9.5 with my HKS camp 2 on stock block then it went to -8.5-9.0 with built block and cams

I have asked others with HKS products to see what they read and they all said they get same reading

The goal is to keep low boost @ 13 psi, high boost @ 18 psi for pump, and hopefully 28psi w/q16. We shall see, and no vids yet but Ill be working on making one this coming spring.
