ATI's Super Damper allows for a true balanced crank pulley to avoid irregular runout and vibrations with your crankshaft. In high power builds, these vibrations can actually rob power or cause long term negative effects to the crankshaft itself.

SOB... this is a sweet documentation of an FI build. nice progress pics! the burnt orange, gloss black and wht. pinstrip on the ATI looks awesome!!
so when you say tight, what dimension are seeing between the ATI damper and the OEM fan shroud? it looks as if you have the 53mm KOYO radiator which adds another 1/2" to the depth, or decreases that space, which ever way you look at it...
thanks,

Before you guys get all crazy about the mishimoto slim fans, read the issues with mishimoto writing thread.
Other than not being able to keep your car cool in the summer, you'll have to upgrade to a 14 spal fan and a controller for the fans. If your willing to deal with the hassel, them its worth it...

Sorry, not fan shroud. The pulley. My bad English misunderstood it. The idler pulley.. the shroud has room. Not mutch but enough.
