Default Forged Performance: Momentum Single Turbo Kit Completed

Alright guys here it is. Vince's G35 is now fully equipped with a Momentum Performance Single Turbo Kit. For Vince we went with the Tuner kit as he already had a UTEC, DW Injectors, and a fuel pump. As previously posted, we have been very impressed with this kits quality. Everything from the packaging to the detailed installation guide displays unmatched professionalism. The long hours of R&D have really paid off.

Installation was very straightforward and the kit is priced perfectly. Overall, this kit installed and out the door is only about $1000 or so more than doing a Supercharger kit, and many thousands of dollars less than a Twin Turbo kit. I think Momentum just breathed some new life into the 350Z/G35 platform.

The Momentum Performance G35 Complete Single Turbo Kit Includes:

* Garrett GT35R with TiAL 1.03 A/R stainless v-band housing
* Intercooler: Custom high fin density bar and plate (9” x 22” x 3.25”)
* Wastegate: TiAL MV-R
* Blow-off-valve: TiAL Q 50mm
* Downpipe: 3″ 304 stainless with spare O2 bung for wideband installation
* Up-pipe: 2 1/4" 304 stainless
* Intake/Charge Piping: 3″ 6061 Aluminum with an integrated billet MAF housing
* Injectors: DeatschWerks 600cc plug & play (no adapter harness or spacers needed)
* Fuel Pump: Walbro 255H drop in fitment
* Tune: Up-Rev flash package and basemap (no removing or mailing out your ECU.)
* Coolant Surge Tank: Custom aluminum surge tank
* Supplied with one step colder NGK spark plugs(LFR6A-11) and a K&N Air Filter (5″ x 7″)
* All the necessary hardware, couplers and clamps along with detailed installation instructions
* Polished or optional Powder Coated intercooler and intake tubing (black or gray wrinkle powder coating)
* Polished or optional Ceramic coated exhaust tubing

The tuner kits are also available which come without fueling and tuning.

Just as expected this kit made just above 400whp on our dyno dynamics on the stock motor at only 8 psi on pump gas. This car is an absolute blast to drive on the street. Vince also went with the Momentum Performance headers and dual exhaust. The quality of each of these products is among the best on the market.

After the dyno tuning, Sharif took the car on the interstate for some road testing and tuning. This car is insanely fast and lights up the cold tires at 60mph! The turbos spool up very quickly and maintain a very broad and linear power band all the way to redline.

Here are the pictures and graph. Enjoy!

That would be about 440 whp on a dynojet, at least. At 8 psi? That is just outstanding.

Kit looks great and power looks nice..

I'm curious if Sharif took notice to MAF voltage or could post a Datalog showing it. 3in piping is nice on the intake pipe...but at that power level im curious to see how much room is let on the stock MAF sensor...

Our Turbo kit does come with a PMAS MAF.
Sorry for not clarifying earlier, but as Bryan pointed out Vince's car does have the Tuner kit as he previously had a UTEC and all of the fueling items. I edited the initial post to reflect this information.

The G looks and sounds great!

A few questions:
1) Is your "pump" fuel 93 octane or other?
2) What is the estimated install time for a senior technician (sans tuning, and without the add-ons (headers and exhaust))?

Thanks!

Hey Here you go

1) Our pump gas is 93 octane, sorry for not specifying!

2) Estimated time is 16 hours on a G35. This is still somewhat of a loose estimate as this was our first kit. We have 3 more cars on the way getting fitted with these kits. Once we have completed a few more of these installs the install time will be more clear.

Thanks
