Glad to see this event is going ahead. I just sold my Z last week, so I doubt I'll be making it up (my DD cant hang with boosted Z's). If anyone is down for a passenger for the weekend, hit me up.

I live in Anderson, you can ride with me. I go up real early though, the Saturday prior and stay for the week. But you are welcome to roll with.

 

Chris, what temps did you see before the oil cooler? Just curious.

 

When it was in the 50s this past week I was seeing 120*F cruising on the highway and 140-150*F around town. The max was 160-180*F when pushing it on the back roads.

Yesterday it was 80*F and the around town temps were 180-200*F. Figure by the time temps get in the low to mid 90s and high humidity it would move higher yet.

I went on a spirited cuise this past weekend with some 370Z guys and they were seeing temps close to 240*F. It seems odd, but maybe they were running much higher in the rev range or running weaker oil

I will be running the Mocal thermo adapter plate with dual Mocal 235 series 19 row coolers all connected with -10AN fittings. That should be plenty to keep me cool at all times. I will throw up some pics of the install this weekend.
