You should also get an oil cooler, boost controller, gauges (boost, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, egt), wider tires, LSD, and exhaust. All of these items are optional but highly recommended.

Op you will want the turnkey kit not the Tuner kit since you didn't specify fuel injectors and fuel pump.

Really, all you need is our Turn-Key Supercharger Kit, engine oil cooler, valve body upgrade and a transmission cooler. You don't really need exhaust upgrades on this car as it will hit 400whp DJ with stock exhaust. If you want a little extra oomph down the road, then a cat-back and some resonated test pipes will do just that.

All of the testing that we have done on both the HR and VHR platform with our supercharger kit has been on stock cats. Our experience thus far has shown that the stock cats vastly outlast the majority of high flow cats currently on the market with our supercharger kit. I think there may have been one brand of HFC that does ok, but I can't remember which one it was off the top of my head.
Now, obviously any kind of test pipe will outlast any kind of cat. So in essence in terms of reliability with our supercharger kit, it would look like this:
test pipes>stock cats>aftermarket high flow cats

Yes it will. That said, boost doesn't always equal horsepower. Airflow equals horsepower. Boost is nothing more than a measure of resistance to flow and rarely tells the whole story.
Now, the HR and VHR are two totally different animals when it comes to supercharged power.
The supercharged VHR makes less power with test pipes than stock cats.
The supercharged HR on the other hand, makes more power with test pipes than stock cats.
Both motors experience boost drop with test pipes instead of cats.
The reason the HR makes more power, and the VHR loses power is more complicated and requires a deeper understanding of internal combustion engines and airflow. Suffice it to say that the VHR has more intake duration and overlap at high rpm than the HR motor.

Mike,
How long have you guys been running the SC on the HR platform? When you install the product in your "test" car (for lack of a better word) do you leave it on and log miles on it? Or after x amount of time do you take it off to move on to the next thing? Just curious.
