Yes it will. That said, boost doesn't always equal horsepower. Airflow equals horsepower. Boost is nothing more than a measure of resistance to flow and rarely tells the whole story.
Now, the HR and VHR are two totally different animals when it comes to supercharged power.
The supercharged VHR makes less power with test pipes than stock cats.
The supercharged HR on the other hand, makes more power with test pipes than stock cats.
Both motors experience boost drop with test pipes instead of cats.
The reason the HR makes more power, and the VHR loses power is more complicated and requires a deeper understanding of internal combustion engines and airflow. Suffice it to say that the VHR has more intake duration and overlap at high rpm than the HR motor.

sorry 1 noob questions. I know what is HR engine, so what is VHR?
Would I be able to achieve at least 400 whp on my 08 G35HR Sedan using a 88mm pulley? Just pulled the trigger and bought the Stage 1 Supercharger kit today. I have my mind set on the 88mm pulley since it is my DD.
