Default Vortech V3 and final drive gears question

I will be getting a Vortech V3 installed next year so this year I am trying to get everything else finished first but I have a question first. I am looking at getting a 4.08 final drive installed but I dont know how that will work out with the Vortech. Will I be burning my tires off with the 4.08 and the Vortech or will I be fine if I do both. Knowing I will be getting the Vortech should I just leave the final drive gears stock?? 06 manual trans. BTW. Thanks

i didnt mind the stock gears when i had the vortech on...never tried any others..honestly id say save ur money on the gears and just get the vortech and supporting mods done then decide after..

1st and 2nd gear i have a hard time getting traction now so i would say no to the gearing change. Money can be better spent in other places such as breathing mods or cooling upgrades.

I had the same question so i pmed alberto(the member with alot of experience in FI) and he advised me to stay with stock gears, he also mentioned that with really sticky tires 3.7 gears will be good but the expense may not be worth my while(street tires would be hard to hook up except for the higher end low tread wear ones) so if you don't have to do both installs at once first try out stock then venture into 3.7, keep in mind that after hours of using the search bar i read that 3.3 gears off of an auto would be ideal for boosted applications, but like i repeat im gonna try stock 3.5 first
