700+ horsepower, 3 years running strong
Brandon thanks for the posted times. The first three passes were on low boost shutting it down at the 1000 to be respectful of the track owner as he and other people were eyeballing the car from the door when they saw the VTR sticker. Nothing better than to see the domestic guys wondering why a 350z is sitting on slicks.First question was "did Vinny build this car" lol I shoulda said no lol
The car performed great as I knew it would. I left the tree with ease very very light cutting only 1.7 60 foots on slicks in fear of breaking my axles again!! 3rd set im on btw
As you can see from the better times as the tires started to break in and the weather got warmer the times got better and better, may I also add the car did 10.6 and 10.5 BACK TO BACK with no COOL DOWN, meaning I went down the track and less than 1 minute later I was back at the tree.
I have two aborted passes because of tooo much wheel spin or not enough out the hole, however it was a great day, car performed well and we didn't get kicked out thanks to Vinny, Although I was told to slow it down a couple of times. Thanks Brandon/Steve/Todd and all of VTR for all your support and tell Vinny I never got my heads up race with the 9 second drag car....
I still have more adjustments to make and parts to add this was my first pass on a full slick so I will be correcting suspension, direct air charging and Vinny is working on a nice tune for me, so till next time......

Congrats Sal & VTR. Impressive to see someone pull several consecutive passes at that power level without something breaking.
Got a cage? You mentioned breaking axles before... Got DSS Pro axles now?

LOL @ Vinny in the background ......
To answer some questions: Had to shut it down as I have no roll cage, no driveshaft loop blah blah lol my car is a full street car no cage, full interior, a/c and power steering and runs pump gas no meth.
Tires are M/T drags 28x10.5 on welds,
Great feeling to take the car to the track yesterday and drove it to work this morning. There is nothing, and I mean nothing the VQ platform cannot do different from the rest. VTR has proven this time and time again. With dyno sheets, dyno shoot outs, and track times MPH's dont lie....
I will be checking in and hoping all others will see the potentional in this car and will make wiser choices in whom they let build their cars. You want it done right, don't you?
Congrats VTR great job. Alwaysnboost will be building another car soon to add to the team of cars we have already thanks guys

very impressive power on the dyno and then in the track to prove it. Great read of all the pages. I am sorry if I missed this detail. At what boost level is this turbo kit making 700whp at? Also that level of power on pump gas? As it was stated no meth or nothing.
22psi c116 race gas.
