twin turbo
where are you getting 9-10k?, you can get the whole kit for around 6k. internals, oil pump, gaskets, fuel pump, tune, fuel return kit, after market clutch and labor is on who ever does it. I dnt think you even have a FI car, so while im at yo mamas house taking the sand out of her vagina, come up with some realistic numbers douche.lol.
New build list:
Greddy Tuner/Full kit
https://my350z.com/forum/engine/4103...t-special.html
Tuner $7740.00
Full $7900.00
Even at a 10% discount which you'll never in your life see it'll be 7110.00
PowerLab
6970.00
Block
3995.00
https://my350z.com/forum/engine/5204...-in-stock.html
The block isn't going to build itself so that $2k you estimated in parts.... they have to be installed. Are you a machinist or an engine builder? You need to take out the engine thats in the car to get rebuilt and reinstall it to get it running.
Clutches
Figure about 400.00-500.00
Fuel System's
Both Z1auto and Forged Performance sells CJM Stage 1's for 995.99
Walbro is about 100.00
Your going to need a gasket kit, oil pump, radiator, and I haven't even started asking some of the vendors how much labor is. A used set up will cost as much as $7-8k dude... assuming you got the Greddy on some guys deathbed for $3,500.00 then your going to need all the supporting mods.
You can build a Vortech for a little less but it's still waaaay more than the measly $6k you keep referring to.
I have:
Turbonetics Single Turbo kit that needs a couple pieces to be called complete(probably about $600-700 worth in parts.)
Haltec Platinum
Tial BOV
Tial Wastegate
ACT Stage 2 clutch kit
600cc DW injectors
Walbro Fuel pump
Koyo Radiator
Stillen Oil/Power Steering Coolers
Nismo Finned differential cover
I need:
FRS(I had but sold)
Maybe a Quaife diff
Cosworth Intake Mani
Aside from hopes and dreams... what do you have? The TN would be installed but I'm busy working here in Afghanistan until Sept and upon my return it'll be installed. How about you... how's your build list coming? Don't talk money with me guy, search my car and you'll quickly see that my car is legit.
There's several guys on this forum that can vouch for all the crap I've amassed in my Boost venture that will soon be completed.
