Hello, does anyone know which direction the Manley rods are supposed to be installed? H-beams part number 14019-6. I see on many forms that the "tang" is the exhaust side. Would like to confirm if its true for the VQ35DE as well.

My Manley rod usually likes to "tang" in the exhaust side

It sounds like something simple that can be found through google images or calling the manufacturer, right?

I contacted Manley, their tech told me that it didn't matter and the rods were not directional. As a safety precaution, I installed the rods according to how the stock rods were setup with the pistons. The tang on the opposite side of the piston groove.
