well, it's behaving the way it should......the LEDs come on when their supposed to, and there's nothing in the AF numbers that leads me to believe that it's not operating the same as all of the other ones

It seems to be getting enough fuel to put out good AF numbers.......to me, it's definitely the stock timing plus the 91octane.

What's interesting to me is that ATI says they didn't get any detonation in their test cars......i have a theory about that.....somebody please correct me if i sound like i'm full of sh*t......i was looking at the average humidity levels in Kansas compared to the average humidity levels in California......it's much more humid there than it is here........could the humidity there be acting similar to water injection, and keeping them from getting detonation?.......i dunno, it's just a thought

well for what its worth, I was running stock(rich I thought) FMU settings in 45-5- degree weather..As it got colder here 10-30 degree weather I experienced detonation in 2nd gear at 6500rpm's..I think the cold has alot to do with it and ATI is so close to the edge that atmospheric changes affect it...And I was running 93 octain WITH an octain boost!!

Cold air is more dense, so the effective compression ratio goes up. It's like rasing the boost.

Default pump gas

I would expect tha the pump gas that ATI used for development is not a Ca. formulation. When the timing system is run so close to the edge , small formulation changes could push it over into detonation. And yes a humid condition provides a mild "WI" type effect, but not close to the magnitude of a real tuned WI system.

I successfuly use WI to add +2psi and >24rwhp on 91 ca. gas in my truck on nearly a daily basis. It can be made to work very effectively. However; I would never recommend WI as the sole detonation control method. It should be augmented with some from of timing control. I currently use an "MSD knock alert" in , but the J&S setup seems more comprehensive. You want a safety net in case your water tank drains or nozzle plugs. If I use a J&S in the future , I will probalby wire the water fluid low signal into the "switched retard" input into the J&S as a added precaution.

Okay guys......i'm gonna be typing up my BBB response to ATI's letter this weekend.......if there is anybody else having problems with their Procharger, and they want to force ATI to hear about it, now's the time to let me know........PM me with your serial number and any and all problems that you've had with your Procharger

i only have 30 days to respond to ATI's response......so i'm finishing it up this weekend, and sending it off to the BBB
