Momentum GT35R Single Turbo Kit.... done. Keep the motor in the car stock, go buy a backup DE motor and build it over time.

i'm not directing this comment at anyone in particular, but if you only make $100k, its probably not a good idea to buy a $85-90k car. this is just my opinion.

used gtr's are going for just under $50k but on that same note, i completely agree. I'd just keep the 350z and invest the rest of my income since we are in a completely unstable economy and you never know when a business is going to fail or downsize.

Or you could look at it as taking advantage of the economic crisis and buy a used gtr (seriously, also that's not a bad economic strategy according to some business tycoons I know... they are the one's buying up everything, which is starting to help turn things around. IE In the ATP tennis world BNP paribas is taking advantage of the sinkers and buying up tournaments left and right. When things settle down they will be ROLLING in even more dough).

IMO op, save for a little keep the z stock, sell it, and get a used gtr. They wreck shop at tracks, SERIOUSLY. Then just get an exhaust, retune etc and your making like 550whp. Your car will beat 90% of the FI z's out there in a straight line, let alone in the corners.
And for the transmission... I think that jealousy fed crapfest is just that, a crapfest. Samurai Speed, for example, put their car back out on the track for "$1,800" in parts after they busted their flywheel housing.
