I'm hooking my vortech wiring harness up to my ecu. When I connect the new wire from the vortech to my ecu the old wire do I tape it off or connect it with the other two wires?

 

Ok regard my last message but now I'm confused again terminals 33 and 14 are supposed to have cam sensors wires cam 1 cam 2 but there is no wire in those terminals! What do I do I'm stuck here lol everything is done but that!

 

This is the last thing I'm waiting on. There is no wires in those slots so I don't know what I do with the cam wires. The sooner the better(:

So your harness os missing wires to those pins?? O dinno how thats possible. This is a non rev up kit i presume?

 

Yes I have a 2003 touring 6spd. The vortech manual says gonto terminal 33 and 14 and connect the wires....in terminal 33 and 14 there is no cam sensor wires they are empty.a guy on another thread had the same problem but never said the solution....I'm so confused what to do with the wires

 

Unusual.Try to get Vortech to help..They likely heard this before...Maybe you have a very early ecu...GL

 

are you sure you are looking at the harness correctly. the diagram is showing the back side of the connector. so everything is mirrored/reversed when you are looking at it.

That is imposable.....

I think you are just looking at it wrong, get a second pair of Eyes to look at it.....

Your car has to have those wires. Seems you are the only one reporting this issue. My car had an ss box aswell and counting the wires from the correct direction was all it took to get them all correct the first time around. The only other option would be to see if vortech will switch your ss box for the unichip and tune the unichip
