I 100% agree that timing needs to be addressed on this kit and I am trying to get my car to run the best and safest for a minimal further investment...I think I am going J&S and later an Apexi A/F controller...Maybee even injectors down the road..The only thing I dont like about TS is that you have to send your ECU to cali every time you add something..I would like to be able to tune as I add..
As far as EJ's car..No I was in no way blaming his car for his problems, but merely stating that certain other factors can not be eliminated..He has to carefully go over his set up with a fine tooth comb and figure out what EXACTLY is his particular issue...It is feasable that there is something other than the kit that can be causing it right??Why is it that SOME cars are fine and Some cars have problems??Are there different timing maps on different ECU's maybee???Maybee Nissan changed something in the ECU during production which would explain why some are fine and others fail...Did anyone even consider this??Then who do you blame if Nissan changed the timing map on their cars and the Car ATI used to develop the kit on had a different timing map..Everyone is doing alot of "what if"ing around here but no one actually knows what the hell the problem is...12SEC, did you ever for a fact find out the undisputed reason for your issues???Or do you just stand by the whole ATI sucks story.."What if" the cause was actually a faulty NISSAN injector that failed under increased pressure..Would you blame Nissan for the fact that they should have KNOWN you were gonna run BOOST??
Dont take this as a flame, I got much respect for you 12 secz , but you seem to do alot of what ATI is doing..Blaming others for your issues..you also did a complete 180 on us with Mike @Altered..First he was a douche bag, now he is your hero...He is simply doing what ATI feels the DONT HAVE TO DO, that is, SAVE FACE...Which is all good and I really hope he comes through for us..I really do..But lets stop pointing fingers around here and accept the fact that we all took a big chance and purchased an unproven method of forced induction on our own will..No one put a gut to our heads, now lets all live with our choices and make it right and learn from our past mistakes..
