sorry about the uber late reply on this but i am still going threw life without easy access to the internet and I feel bad going to the apple store and doing this.

Anyway my goals are a reliable 500 to 600 whp. Now I know I could get this with a simple bolt on kit and some other things, but I also want a motor that can rev to 10K or 11K and not loose any power doing in the process. When I say reliable I mean a car that I am not worried about being able to run when my women and I are leaving the Mall. Also keep in mind that I drift and I am looking to when the build is done going to the texas mile to hopefully have a street car that can run down a +200mph trap speed in a standing mile. So these are my goals.

My reasoning for doing debateing this build are that because I drift having a motor that has a nice linear power band that revs to 10 ro 11K would be nice for the look sweeping turns where my clipping point is behind me, I would have maximum torgue and hp because I could stay in my lower gears longer and I wouldnt feel like I was hurting my car like I do now when it bounces off the rev limiter. Also I am of the mind that you build the motor to do more then what you need it for that way it will run forever. Also doing the texas mile having a car that can rev really high especially in lower gears I would think maybe incorrectly I would beable to acheive a +200mph trap speed.

problem is theres only a couple worthwhile people on there and the forum dosnt allow linking to other forums so people never really learn anything since theres so few who actually know what they are talking about

nicoclub is a disaster of a forum. there are a few knowledgeable people but overall it sucks, bad. the people there seem to either be pipe-dreamers like that guy mentioned above, or people who are afraid to push what they perceive as the "limits" in any way.

they really don't know their ****. they kind of just roll around in the same sh*tnest, eating each other's crap and then crapping it back out.
The few members that know what they are talking about don't contribute... probably because they know how many dumb asses reside on there.

Maybe the OP will be good this year and Santa will bring him the new motor he wants to accomplish all of his goals. Maybe he should consider swapping in an engine from a Hyabusa for the redline he's looking for

oh dont worry i would'nt, plus you cant even link to other forums from that forum hahaha. even if it has nothing to do with nissans, you can put supraforums on there or turbofords and the mods will delete it giving you a warning not to link to competing forums, dont ask me how its competing.

liberal definition of competing ... I haven't seen seen a forum bad enough to compete.

jesus that's pretty bad. what a joke.

i do go in to one forum over there because it's the only forum even close to worth a damn for the VH, but even then I hardly post and usually just check it once every 2 weeks or so to see if anyone is actually pushing the limits. 99% of the time the answer is no.

by his first few posts he seemed like he was but just dint know very much he wanted 500-600 hp on pump which is doable, he dint mention trying to do it on a budget. the only stupid thing he said at the start was to destroke his engine to a 3.2L to lower compression because the supra guys do it then second page he posted that and the thread went full retard....................you never go full retard
