Hey...that's a good idea...let's see if I can do that with my YSi blower lol
I just got off the phone with my tuner. So he wants to upgrade the wheel only and keep the same housing thus keeping the carb number in tact for the G35. He says he has gotten great results on other cars with this mod. It makes power and boost sooner.
I'm going to have to go by his experience on this one.
I'm just waiting on some parts and my custom pod to arrive by end of this week. She wil then be ready to go in for surgery.

Looks like I’m going to have to settle for the V2 version of the vortech if I want the si-trim. Something about the configuration between the V2 & V3.
After some research there is not much of a difference between the V2 & V3 systems beside self contain oil in the V3 and the extra labor involved for the V2 for the install of the return lines and tapping of oil block. He also wants to start out with the 3.33 so I agreed to it. We can always upgrade and retune.
Your thoughts on the V2 vs V3... I know this is kind of irrelevant now that I told Rob to continue with the V2.

V2 and V3 are both fine and have their own pros and cons.
V2 Pros:
Larger total engine oil capacity
Easier to change oil. Just replace engine oil.
The oil in a V2 will probably run slightly cooler than a V3, especially if you have an oil cooler
V2 has a slightly longer warranty from Vortech than the V3
V2 Cons:
Greater chance of oil leaks
If an oil line does bust, you supercharger will probably fry
More installation costs
I have a V3 but would have had no qualms if I had a V2. I just have to replace my V3 oil once a year. No chance of leaks or lines breaking either.

Car still at ZCG.
I just added a set of Tein Comfort CS coilovers with EDFC controller, SPC camber front and rear camber kit, and an Oil pressure gauge to my order. Waiting on parts. Build coming along hopefully it will be done this week or no later than next.
I will keep you all posted.
