Alright I know im going to get flamed for this. I was wondering if a Godspeed turbo kit would work, my power goals are only 300-350 and that's about it. I know they will not work under a decent amount of boost but what if I just use it as low boost. Has anyone tried them? fitment? I've looked for threads but they always go off topic.

 

just get a real kit, its much more worth it.

 

Buy used off here plenty of good deals ..and you'll have a good capable kit

 

Yea probably what I'm going to end up doing. I was just wondering because alot of evo, still, etc.... use ebay turbo's. The main problem I saw was the turbo and bov, since alot of threads have said the intercooler, piping is fine. Also my power goal aren't to high so if a cheaper kit could handle it perfectly fine then that would be good. Im not looking for anything over 360 max.

 

your power goals are going to change regardless of what you say. Its like buying a honda compared to buying a porsche... which would you rather have?

Ppl give you crap because everyday someone is boosting their z but it never happens.. If your truly doing I suggest reading a lot of build threads on here and weighing your options ..cheap and boost with the z don't go together.. another way to go would be supercharged..?

 

These guys are being nice and suggest you get a better kit, if you do some research you'll find alot of reliable kits. If money is an issue, id say leave your car stock.

Yeah, I knew there was going to be a bunch of ***s, that were just going to complain or cry. About 1/3 of this community is actual helpful. The rest just want to rack up posts or got nothing to do. That doesn't bother me though, just makes me feel better when I actually do it. Thanks for the support. And the rest can keep hating.

no reason that kit wont work. its just a turbonetics clone. get a proper tune, maybe swap the wastegate for a tial, and you'll be fine.

piping is piping.

 

One of the reasons the 350z community is hated or disliked by everyone. They can't even support or give useful help within each other.
