I am unsure the absolute final numbers from Dynosty, they can post it up if they get a chance. Octane became the big issue. E85 to come and more boost for the spring time.
check out this supercharger dyno on a S2000 for comparison. thats a strong little car!

sorry to hear about your headache, Really I don't know why everyone is having such issues with their VQ builds. Good luck with your new set up..

Numbers are pretty good considering the last BP kit at dynosty made 512rwhp with a 67. What psi was this at with the 62?

I think that the numbers would be much better with a .96 a/r turbine. Both, this dyno and the 67mm turbo dyno that made 512whp had the same .81a/r T4 hot side.

On a side note, I may be working on a Stage III kit very soon, with this turbo:

It looks like the H cover will fit without clearance issus..

Looks like shifting around 6700 would be the ideal spot to drop you right back into your powerband. good deal!

What do you think the spool will be like on the .96 hot side still around 4500? Also do you think it will help with the drop off up top?I noticed that after 6200~ hp goes down I thought maybe its due to the smaller hotside.

Just finished installing the exhaust. The sound is amazing now. I have some tuning issues that need to be addressed here soon.

Did you snag that one off 780? I was thinking of grabbing that and seeing if you could make a kit that would work with it. I was away so it looks like you beat me to it! Hope it works out!

that drop off looks like intake temp drop off. It looks just like mine did when my intake temps were getting high. On the dyno it was getting really high intake temps but i never see close to that on the street with real time air flow.

don, what tuning issues are you having now?

I don't think this is IAT related at all, and Hal can chime in if he wishes. Couple of things will be checked once the car goes back on the dyno.

The partial throttle stuff needs to be street tuned & the car also throws a slip light and vdc about 2-3 minutes into driving and the car shakes violently and then it's fine.

Now that I have an exhaust it should be much easier for Hal to take care of it.

hmm, might not be but this is a similar presentation to what mine looked like during a pull when the intake temps started increasing near the top of the rpm range. I'm not saying they are high temps, but obviously near 7k they are going to be higher than they are at the beginning of the run which would cause the car to pull timing. Mine was heating up super fast during runs on the dyno (maybe heatsoak) but it doesn't do that at all on the street.

Mine will occasionally do that but there is no change in driving. I'll just look down and sometimes those lights will come on. I've tried everything to reproduce it but it seems to be random and only when i'm just cruising on the interstate.

I will say that this didn't ever start happening until i did the whole "pin 120" (i think) so i can brake boost. Once i spliced a toggle switch into that wire so i can brake boost i started occasionally getting the vdc and slip lights on. It never happened before.

sweet. you should do e85!

I've been waiting to get this tank low on my car before draining the last bits out but since i live 1 mile from campus and don't go anywhere outside of school it's taking me longer to get rid of this fuel. I might just drain it anyways this weekend because i'm ready for an e85 tune. Pump at 18psi is fun but i'm already getting used to it after a few weeks.

our winter blend locally is E70 so it looks like I am waiting until spring to make the switch.

have you checked it though? supposed to be e70 here by now and my pump is still e85.

not reason not to switch now. just tune a touch richer and you'll be fine.

ya, e70 will still provide better numbers than pump. It's best to tune with e70 anyways in case you get some low mix stuff on accident in the summer. An e70 tune works fine with e85 but not the other way around

injected is a VP dealer so just buy some e98 and mix your own e85. I'm not sure i would string it out on that fuel though because mixing e98 with 87 octane is a lot higher quality than what they mix the ethanol with for the e85 at the pump.
