Default Creating new intake for vortech have a couple questions

Ok, so I decided to make my own air intake for my Vortech V3 supercharger but I have a few questions before I order the stuff.
So these are my plans, Im going to get a coupler and connect it to the inlet of the supercharger then connect that to my stock air intake tube (so I can use the part of the tube with the breather fitting),then connect a 90 degree silicone couple to the other end of the cut intake tube through the support brace, then connect a filter to the end of the coupler.

This prolly sounds confusing but i'm pretty sure it should work.

My questions though are:

1) The inlet of the supercharger is a 3.5 diameter so would I get a 3.5 coupler, or a 3.75?

2) I have not had time to measure the stock air intake tube but is it a 3.5?

3) Does anyone know a good filter that has a 3.5 outlet and would fit well behind the number?

Thanks for any help, hopefully this goes smooth lol BTW I have a 2003 350z

Not sure of the specifics this has been done by several members here and g35 driver. A search should reward you in your endeavors.

ok I feel like I have looked everywhere and found no one that has a tube that will just go one, no one really goes into detail on what to do they just show theres. they said buy a coupler and a tube and cut away to make it fit. I really dont care as long as it works because my filter is really dirty and I need to figure out something soon. I can always change it down the road
