Better mileage after supercharge?

The mileage calculator is wrong...the problem is that the calculator is based on the stock injectors, so when you put bigger injectors it does not compensate...
And unfortunately you can't re-calibrate the mileage calulator to your new injectors, at least you couldn't when I asked a long time ago...

Correct me if I'm wrong

I have the vortech and get 418 rwhp. My mileage hasn't really changed much, I was getting 26.5 to 27.2 on the road with N/A add ons, i.e. headers, catback, and cold air intake, which was a improvement to the original stock. Now with the vortech, when I get on it then it will naturally go done (i.e. 23.5 - 24). I really don't get on it much though, only when somebody tries to cut me off instead of getting behind me, etc. I like just driving the normal and having the extra the unexpected or showoffs. I use cruise lot and I get pretty much the same, and that is a little over 25 on the road.

Supercharger is parasitic which means your mileage goes down.
The stock ecu thinks you are running the stock injectors on smaller pulse widths which is not the case. You are running larger injectors which flow more at the same pulse widths.

You don't know how many people I have spoken with talk about how crappy their MPG's are. How much it sucks to fill up 60$. Yet still, they don't know what their talking about more than half the time.
Who cares if it's 60$ a week in gas when that 60$ will get you 15 gallons to drive 500miles. Fuhhh. That's more than 30mpgs.

I don't go by the gauge, i go by how much fuel i've used over a given distance.
That being said, the last time to the track I averaged 29mpg including the 3 runs at the Strip....... Mostly highway on cruise control @ 75mph.
Believe me, don't believe me.... I'm not one with bad mpg's
I feel for you guys that get crappy gas milage, you don't have to.......
