Believe me, don't believe me.... I'm not one with bad mpg's

I feel for you guys that get crappy gas milage, you don't have to.......
I guess people don't understand that changing your injectors will inflate the MPG's calculated by the OEM gauge.

If it's tuned and running lean and or as some have stated (if you don't abuse it all day long and stay in low RMP's)then yes it's possible...

Please enlighten us you old fart

(Wonders if the old fart has the wrong tire size on the rear giving him a better than actual mileage reading on his odometer)

it would take a big tire difference to calc 29mpg. I targeted 15.5:1 lean cruise on a long 100% highway with at least stock if not more advanced timing and was maybe 23mpg. This was on my turbo setup, didnt even bother to try with my vortech and the constant drag.

if he can really get 29mpg, good for him. i cant.

Yeah it would take a crazy size difference but there is no way he truly got nearly 30mpg with a vortech strapped on with the cog belt left in place.

That parasitic drag combined with the short gearing of the Z just don't give that kind of MPG.

My guess is that upon initial fill the user filled it to the brim but on the calculation refill trip they stopped filling on the first click off and then calculated in order to give them selves a warm and fuzzy feeling.
