A little new but I have some piston and turbo Q's
I was thinking of the gt2871 But was not sure How they would work on the vq They are shitty on the vg30dett They are real laggy and power band is not that fat! Im looking for something That would maybe make 650whp after cams and some other mods!. Im looking for full boost by 3400-3800 rpms. I have a 700 hp Vgdett now I have hks 2530 (Aka modded 2860rs) So I was hoping that the 2860 would were well with the vq Maybe spool a little fast than my vg which gets full boost at 3800 And will lay 700whp.
TELL me which way you would go and why or more info oh how the 2871 work for you spool time and such etc
Thanks

600rwhp is a fairly common # around here, if you are willing to settle for 600rwhp and quick spool then go with 2871s, if you are dead set on 700rwhp then i would go with GT3076 its not *that* much laggier and can make 700rwhp easily. Not saying the 2871s won't, but they are pretty much maxed out.
PM sent, i don't wanna threadjack with my graph, but i think for built block GT2871s is as small as you need to go. The TQ is already so instant you cant get traction in 3rd (with a 3.3FD) given im on street tires, but i can't run DRs all the time because I like driving my car everyday.

dont hit max spool till about 4800 ish from a few tuners who have used them
EDIT: i retract that statement, APS Extreme cars dont seem quite this laggy, but when overlayed this is what they look like. My car with true 2871s .86 hot side vs APS Extreme GT3076 with tiny housings

Relative to some Z32s ive driven at similar power, they aren't. But compared to my 28s yea they spool 3-400 rpm later.

the 2871's with the bigger hotside so much fun because all your powers there and ready down alot lower and you get alot bigger powerband

Just depends on fuel and supporting mods. I'm shooting to break 700 whp with the 2871's with the .86 ar with my build. we'll see though
how do you plan on doing that considering those are the same turbos used by RH334 that you said were maxxed out? If they are really turbine limited as you suggest, more displacement is just gonna have them choking sooner and making hot air, not power, esp with tiny T25 housings.
