I'd check your headgasket, after doing a thorough purging of the cooling system. Best of luck.
After purging the system earlier this morning, I didn't get any further residue of RTV or gasket material, i bled out the system through the bleeder on the rear hot pipe several times. after i finished I let the car idle for about 10 mins then drove the car for about 30 minutes with a mix of cruising and under boost. Car didn't overheat at all. coolant level dropped a tiny bit in the reservoir but that's it. car drove fine in both cruising and under load. Is it still possible that there may be something wrong with the head gasket?

Only time will tell. Keep an eye on the overflow tank over the next week or so and top it off as needed, you may notice it keeps going lower over the next days as small pockets of air slowly purge out.

Good to know, after letting the car cool off, the overflow tank went from almost completely full to about 2/3 full.
