Im looking for a solid street tire that i can daily drive but, will actually hook 2nd (maybe 1st :-D). Right now i spin through 3rd gear. Currently im on firehawk runflats and they suck ( they were the only thing they had at the time of a blowout). I have a 19x10.5 rim so im looking to run a 295 or 305 tire in the back. I asked my tuner about tires and he recommended toyo r888. Does any one have experience with them in the rain or a daily driver situation. From what ive found online the r888 seems to be a auto x tire. I don't make many track visits but i would like to know what it feels like to put down the power im making to the ground. Im so lost on what tire to run just want some ideas, and experience to be shared here. I'm looking at the r888, KDW2, RE11, or anything you may recommend.

Keith is 100% right, plus you mentioned all the most popular ones. Its all personal preference and a cocktail of traction vs road noise vs cost.
