plus 2G for the adaptors
https://my350z.com/forum/drivetrain/...l-housing.html

you'll be looking at close to 7000$ all said and done for a torque appropriate tranny setup.

For such a large build, 6 months is not bad. Expectations should be set properly from the beginning though. Hope you get your beast back soon OP. Interested to hear how well the GTM 5AT holds up at 600 wtq... Mine has been doing fine going on 4 years at around 500 wtq peak. I'm thinking of bumping that up a bit though but not sure what the real limit of the transmission is.

But it's nearing 6 months and he has no idea when it will be done. I doubt he would be so frustrated if this were made clear to him up front.

rc, I hear that GTM has tuned one AT to 623 or so, but dont know the length of time it lasted......a year ago I would be willing to put in a GM 4180e, but now, I just want a car to drive...I have to buy another car this week to get me to work and back cause my wife now travels in the other direction........

yeah from reading everything on the 350z/g35 forums for the past few years I've seen that the people who seem most content are those who stick with intake/exhaust, suspension and maybe a little all-show-no-go exterior/engine bay mods. People who redo their entire interior in velvet, full custom paint, and forced induction seem to have regrets or want to move on to a different platform. And many FI people lose their G/Z as a daily driver or are forced to buy a reliable DD to beat on. I think it may be a psychological thing where a person may not be able to be happy with what they have despite it's shortcomings. It's funny though, when people get older they always regret selling that first sports car... How would you describe the mod bug?

I believe I met the owner of this car a couple of years back at the Stillen meet in southern CA. His was a G35 sedan and he was using a T-Trim blower. He dropped $50k on the build and when I last spoke with him he was in the process of suing GTM for fraud. It's funny you the Nissan community hasn't learned its lesson yet.

p.s. a 6 month wait is redonkeyless for a motor build and FI install...

ROFLMAO...ALberto strikes again....damn brah GET THAT MONEY...right on point.

Screw that pick up a used GTR and *** slap GTM with it all day long versus giving them 80k so they can smoke cubans and walk on marble floors thanks to your paychecks.

Also if you recommend the engine at 600hp then stop advertising 800hp and asking ridonkoulous money you fools

if you read the 370z or g37 forums, GTM posts there regularly and they are THE premier shop.

depends what your after, if you want something quick and fun to drive and something you dont have to worry about bolt on and tune is the way to go. I'm after something that scares me every time i take it out and when after that you cant expect it to not have problems, should expect stuff to break or fail when you push them to their limit and farther its just a matter of time lol
