staten island , and the closes stations are long island or east Orange/Newark area. I would love to run e85 in my new build but I'm not driving 25miles and paying $15 every time I need to fill up. Not switching maps eather.

I don't daily the car much anymore so going out to Newark to fuel up won't be an issue...

you cant compare tuning a dsm to a v6 VQ.
Like I said, if I spent alot more time, prolly coulda got them closer to stoich. I was at the very bottom of their IPW and still a 12.5:1. Would have to play with injector firing angle, ign timing, and inj flow rates to get anything better. I was only at 40psi fuel pressure as well, so I bet bumping the fuel pressure would also help the fuel atomize better as well.
I do have a stroker with big cams which also adds to the equation. But like I said, I dont have enough pump, so i'd rather have better driveability, than injector headroom

Regarding the ID2000, no experience with E85 unfortunately, but I have a Skyline R32 with a 2JZ Swap, Hks 280 cams, GTX4202R, ID2000 with twin Bosch 044 Pumps, 43.5 psi fuel pressure on idle, utilizing an AEM series2
with damn 21x17 Map resolution, i can say if i want it to run stoich i can do it but the car want be happy with that much overlap, but it idles perfect at 13.5AFR +- .3 with out an idle control valve, gona install one soon... yeah the car produced 810WHP around 28psi and i was using 52% duty cycle, and the Injector dead time tables they provide are spec'd for various Static Pressures, and they are accurate, after running the numbers in the ECU closing or opening the power windows flickering with high beam the AFR stays nearly as it is +- .1 and then back to the initial target, loved the ID2000 a peace of mind to be honest. can't compare them to others the only injectors i ever used are either Hks or ID's and both are good.

no, but they are the same injectors we use so pulsewidth is pulsewidth. Based on the IPW they show in their logs and what my car uses at 1000cc now mine wouldn't idle at stoich. I would have to run 1/2 the IPW that i'm currently running since injector size is bigger. The id2000's minimum pulsewidth is well above what half of my IPW would be right now so no stoich and probably not even 13:1 even with e85.
but the main think is the cost for injectors i can't fully utilize

you cant compare the two injectors to each other. body and design is different. one is also a low impedance compared to the id is a high impedance injector. we have ran the hks, dw, pe, id, 5-0 motor sports, rc's and the best injector we have used so far is the id's. had 3 sets of dw that ohmed out fine but turned out the injector was crapped out. had two sets of rc's start dumping fuel making the car sound like subaru. id ftw

I run ID1000's and they idle fine, easy to control the fueling at both low and high rpms... They atomize amongst the top of injectors comparable in price. Granted they come with pig tails, its only a 15-20 minute job to swap over. ID's seem extremely consistent between many forums as well. Stick with whats proven to be successful.
