Talking 515hp/505tq 350z greddy 20g 15psi

I believe i forgot to post the pictures from the FI portion of my build from almost a year ago now. I got a little wrapped up with my move to North Carolina.

The thread from where I built the engine is https://my350z.com/forum/na-builds/4...diy-build.html

Here's the rest

Koyo slimline radiator

Power steering cooler relocation

APS BOV pre-maf

Love the sound of open dumps

CJ Hardline

Twin Pump and rails

Wiring Relays for the pumps

Pump going in

Defi gauges

Aeromotive fpr - Vibrant vacuum distribution block

Workmanship and dyno is impressive. Now lets get to the drag strip and see what it will do.

11.2 is the best I have done so far. When I replace the diff that I blew up I'm gonna try again with a quaife and some slicks.

I think I enjoyed building it a little too much. I wish I could do this for a living

I keep my best passes in my center console. The rest usually get littered on the way back to the pit area I'm in afghanistan right now or I'd post it up for you.

There's a couple other random vids on my channel.

Keep in mind I'm still learning. Think my best pass in these videos was a 12 flat

I know! I built it with e85 in mind. I think I'll take a trip back to forged after I get home.

dss lvl 2 now. A short hop right before I grabbed 2nd destroyed the stockers.
Tires were NT05r, 14psi 285/45/18 I believe. On 9.5in wheels. I Like the tire but I think I really have yet to get them warmed up to where they need to be. Absolute crap when the roads are wet if you street your car. Think I'll just bite the bullet and grab some wheels for slicks.

Technique/new parts for cutting down wheel hop has been a problem for me. So far I've just installed the solid diff bushings. Didn't make a huge difference that I can tell. Road noise definately increased though.

nice car and numbers.

weird issue breaking the axles AFTER the launch though. that must have been one crazy bounce.

I've never had wheel hop with my setup. Mickey 305 et drag radials. The rest of the rear end is stock

You are saying you ran 11.2 on street tires?

What was the 60ft, 1/8 time and trap and 1/4 trap on that run??

Why so much fuel system for so little power?

I think it was a bad decision to put lowering springs on it when i first started the build. I have been bad at making it hop a lot when I launch. After the axle snapped, when I checked underneath the driveshaft and halfshaft bolts were all about finger tight.

127mph and a 1.9something 60ft. I'd have to get the wife to check the slip, being overseas at the moment and all. Alberto I remember seeing your youtube videos years ago. One of the cars I watched while I was researching for this build.
I had e85 in mind when I dropped the car off at forged, but there wasn't enough time before my big move to NC. So the car was picked up right after sharif finished with a conservative tune.

that was the issue. When stuff isn't tight it breaks easily. Why they came loose i have no idea. Mine are factory and the bolts are tight as can be still (as of last weekend).

Grab a set of E/T streets, heat them properly and no more wheel hop.

My mistake I missed the tire spec, still Id like to see the breakdown of the times when possible.

If you hit an 11.2 with only a 1.9 60ft, thats one of the best times we would have seen for a relatively "bad" 60ft on these forums.

Its a shame how few cars have owners to even run 11's let alone low 11's or better on these nice builds.
