Curious to know what some WHP/WTQ numbers are with a built block. I'm in the process of having mine built now; https://my350z.com/forum/texas/54165...ore-boost.html

Why only 12psi? Figured with the built block you run 16+?

You can see my numbers already. I'm an AT so take that into account-

I'm currently getting that restriction knocked off the hot side of the turbos (apparently that small elbow looks bigger but is only about 2.25 or so on the inside) and going straight to 3" pipes into a 2.75 exhaust. I suspect that will boost numbers slightly- with stock heads I may be tapped out. I guess we'll see.

I'm hoping reducing this restriction will help bump up my torque numbers a bit.

eagletangreen ran a 700bb kit didn't he? Granted that was back in 08', he was well over 600whp.

Scratch that, he was running 850's.

Nice! I never wanted to push my block pass 10psi.

I’m very interested in the outcome of your build,as i'm thinking of getting the 700 kit. I’m running the JWT530 kit 505hp/532tq @ 16psi.

I'm assuming you have a built block. If I remember correctly the 530BB kit turbos (GT24?) run out around 16psi. Still 505/532 is good power! :thumb up: I was tossed up on upgrading to the 850 kit but finances wouldn't allow me for the turbo and sleeve upgrade. Think once I'm done with this engine build I'll focus more on some good interior, audio/video and suspension/wheel upgrades. Here is my build thread; https://my350z.com/forum/texas/54165...ore-boost.html

EDIT: Nice dyno lines! I bet its a blast to drive!!!

I was in the begining stages of getting it tuned in kill mode at around 20+ psi but something happened with my motor so its in peices in my garage again and i'm waiting on parts to come back... then its game on, shooting for mid-6's on pump and 7 on race gas

600 might be possible on pump but it will be stretching it. The 850s will have to work a lot less to make 600 on pump gas then the 700bb kit.

With stock piping and IC, I don't think 600 whp is possible (DJ STD). 600 wtq is very possible. The turbos are just blowing hot air after 18 psi and the torque drops off too fast above 6k rpms. If you are building the motor you may want to consider a turbo refresh with new GTX compressor wheels as Garrett has finally released the billet versions for the GT28s.
