only if the car was stripped. otherwise it will get outclassed by barely modified turbo 4 bangers.

thats pretty sick dude. that car makes almost as much power NA as my greddy TT z does at 5 PSI and I'll bet it has a better power band. course I bet it cost like 5 times as much but even still.

but yes as was stated earlier, turbos will continue to spool until they produce a target pressure at which point the wastegate controls the boost pressure by bypassing exhaust gas ensuring the turbo spins at just the right speed. as you go higher and higher the air density goes down causing NA and supercharged engines to loose power. with turbo systems however the wastegate stays closed more allowing the turbo to spin a little faster creating the same boost pressure it would have at ground level air density.

I doubt you'd have any real torque. Like str8 said, turbo 4cyls would just smash the z.

Up to and sometimes beyond 400whp subies and evos make so much torque, that it's borderline bullsh*t. They go with those small turbos and just have mid range for days. A local guy makes more torque than hp with some basic upgraded turbo in his lil evo 9.
