Default 350Z HKS GT3037 full turbo kit

Hey there!.

I have recently bought the HKS GT3037 Full Turbo Kit. The instructions are all in japanese and (unfortunately i dont speak japanese). - does anyone know of a good translating program?

I want to know if anyone out there in this forum land has attempted or preferably has done this upgrade...? Im looking for any genuine good advice for things to be careful of or 'heads up'

This is my parts list (and what i have)
  • Aeromotive intank fuel pump
  • Injector Dynamics ID1000cc
  • upgraded Up rev MAF sensor
  • Turbosmart BOV and Fuel Reg
  • HKS GT3037 single turbo kit.

saw this; http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/fuel_pump_install/

....i guess any feedback welcome. will put up pics when its all done

cheers,
drew

I think this was available as an OEM setup on some VQ's in Japan. Small turbo though.

Wow they do exist. I'd buy one just to say I had it. OP sell it to me.

gt35 has trouble getting 500hp on pumpgas so this would proably max out well before that. I guess low boost stock block turbo setup??

A few of the guys here in Australia have them. 350rhwp, very safe tune at 5psi on a stock block. Response is pretty much instant as well.

Hey mate how is the build going and have u changed ur con rods? I also have the HKS GT3037 single kit to install in my z but was told that i should change the con rods as they are only good for 400hp and will run a risk of bending them with the turbo? oh btw any pics of the build yet?

you'll be fine on stock connecting rods as long as you dont push more than 400 tq

I doubt a 3037 could make more than 400ftlbs.

I haven't got the kit myself, I have different plans.

As for if you should change rods or not, that opens up a massive field of other questions.

Have also PMed you
