Default F/I Troubleshoot

I am having issues with my GTM twin turbo’d 07Z. This only happens rarely and now is one of those times. When im driving regardless of which gear im in and I open the throttle hard it feels like my whole car is shutting down at around 4000rpm I don’t really know how else to describe it. Has anyone had those issues or can anyone assist me. I’ve checked for vacuum lines and made sure everything is installed correctly. I’ve had this on my car for a little over three years now and I must say that is the only problem I’ve ran into. Like I stated earlier before it happens very seldom. It seems to go away on its own after a few days but I am just unsure why it is occurring and if there is a preventative measure I can take please let me know. I am not the way to experience with F/I so all of your input would be great thank you very much.

How often do you clean the air filter??? three years with out cleaning seems to be the issue????
although I have no idea since I have never ran into issues like that....
check out the MAFs and the TBs too is might be as simple as swapping the air filter or
cleaning the TBs, or maybe MAFs need to changed, or even a tuning issue.

start with cleaning the MAFs and replacing the air filter if that doesn't help...
take off the charge pipes and clean the TBs.
if the issue wasn't resolved then a fresh retune might be the solution.

What engine management? It could possibly be overboost fuel cut if the boost spikes. Have you noticed any pattern as to when it happens?

We are less than 100 miles away if you want to drive down and let us take a look at it.
