Thought you were staying away from 10+?

The video shows you guys were about dead even - too much traffic IMHO. Where's the nearest track?

I was gonna but the psi number doesn't really matter. Its the TQ number that matters the most and it only hit 363wtq. Plus i won't hit max psi unless i push the car past redline which i don't do much.

Yeah it was very close. and the nearest track is like an hour away. apparently were not allowed to post street racing videos on here even though mostly everybody on this site talks/ participates in it with their car. who would have though? haha

nice.. I'm about to upgrade my pulley to a 3.12 however I do have a some questions don't know if you guys an help. I'm not planing on going over 400whp now I've seen guys that are pushing around 380 to 400whp with the basic bolt ons witch is full exhaust, intake pletnum and of course a good tune. now my question is, would I really need to upgrade the MAF sensor and injectors? I know If I don't I'll prob be maxing out both the injectors n MAF but I don't really go WOT that often. what u guys think?

if you plan to just stay a little less than 400 whp then yes to injectors no to the maf. At most you will need 550, 440s might work? The maf your only going to need if your going to push 430+.

I put the 650cc injectors in mine in case i ever wanted more power. i Wouldn't have to swap the injectors again. I know some people make like 380-400whp on 440cc injectors. The injectors should be fine without a tune if installed correctly and you dont push the car hard at all for that hour drive.

As far as the UpRev GT MAF and the fuel return system, you dont need these but I got them in case i ever wanted more power. It would be less to worry about if i ever went down that path.

Just don't get into boost. Drive easy, easy, easy, don't get past half throttle, and you'll never even touch boost. Or, take the blower belt off and don't even worry with it.

thanks for the input. hope I can install the injectors next week and take it to get tune I
pretty sure I'm honna be making around 400whp and around 360wtq or a little less. and About the injectors I think I'm honna go with 550's since I don't gonna put any more pressure on my stock block maybe later on if I deside I want more lower I'll go with the stroker 4.2l but for now I think 400whp is good enough to leave some people with their mouths open.. haha

400whp is plenty quick enough. And 340-350tq is still beefy without being dangerous enough to bend rods.

Just be sure to use the lubricant that comes with the injectors when installing them. And if you got them used, then use a little vaseline on the o-rings when installing the injectors. Makes it go MUCH more smoothly, and you won't end up with a leak or torn o-ring.

Also be sure to check your plenum for leaks when you reassemble everything.

Good luck to you.

You talking about the clutch pedal getting stuck halfways up? Is there a lot of loose, unusable, play at the top part of where the pedal sits? Or does everything feel normal, and it just "sticks" halfway up when you release it?

it prob gets stuck about 70% when I realease it. and yeah I'll say it has around 10% or more of loose. and if I drive it normal it wot get stuck only when I launch hard but after driving it for a while it goes back to normal.
