Question Turbo VS Super Charger?

Question for you all,
I had my 350 for about 8 months now and have been trying to figure what I would like to do alter it. But I was wondering if anyone has the Dyno runs with the new Greddy TT kit, or the Procharger and Stillen Supercharger kits. Honestly this is the first Import I've ever owned let alone I'm not the most technically adept when it comes to cars in the first place. Thanks for your advice...

My Z is currently in the process of having the Greddy TT kit installed, with a BOV and e-01 boost controller. I should have a dyno chart in about a week and will share once I have the Z back and have the dyno chart in hand. Greddy claims 334 rwhp at 5.6 psi. I'll defer to the professional installer, but I'd like to run it at 6-6.5 psi, which obviously would increase power. I plan on having the shop that is doing the install program a new map and eventually I'll have the necessary internal engine work done so that I can turn up the boost and attain even more power safely with the proper professional tuning.

The Greddy kit just came out, give it some time.

Personally I like turbo setups a lot more than supercharges. But to each is own.

I would go with the ATI tuner kit and add the rc 500cc injectors and ecu reflash with larger fuel pump which will allow you to run 9-10 psi of boost safely..Good for 410-450 rwhp...

It's just that easy, huh? Wow, maybe you should clue in these people.

1 . 401 RWHP & 331 RWTQ, 12SecZ, 9psi, ATI Procharger, Dynamometer
3 . 386 RWHP & 328 RWTQ, SirMikel1, 7psi, ATI Procharger, Dyna Pack
4 . 375 RWHP & ??? RWTQ, daking350, 7psi, ATI Procharger, Dyno-Jet
5 . 371 RWHP & 315 RWTQ, Zul8rnj, 7psi, ATI Procharger, Dyna Pack
6 . 371 RWHP & 294 RWTQ, noahbuddy, 7psi, ATI Procharger
7 . 368 RWHP & 298 RWTQ, Whosdaddy, 7psi, ATI Procharger, 13.1@105MPH
8 . 366 RWHP & 309 RWTQ, ravaz, 7psi, ATI Procharger, Dyno-Jet
9 . 364 RWHP & 312 RWTQ, 350Zzzz, 7psi, ATI Procharger, Dyna Pack
10. 364 RWHP & 305 RWTQ, Anyone2u, 7psi, ATI Procharger, Dyno-Jet.

Or maybe, just throw a couple T51R KAI's on there, some 720's and a Tadashi reflash, that should be good for over 400rwhp.

Yeah, i'm kinda wondering why to go with the turbo set up when you can get around the same hp for less money. Except the fact of the cool BOV sound

RIVET, the number one guy on that chart has the same setup that daking listed except smaller injectors and it isn't finished with tuning yet. It IS that easy but it is more expensive.

You can spend 4000+ on the tuner kit..$600+ on rc injectors
and $180-290 on a new fuel pump, and $500 on a reflash ang get 400whp with a 9psi pulley..it is that easy and seems cheaper than a new engine to me...

EJ..Did you resolve your issue??Have you tried race gas?just to see..Mine is fine now..I marked my DFMU where the sliders were and pushed them up and when it warms up I can put them back to settings..If I have the DFMU by then..

nah, it's still the same......once my funding ship comes in, i'm gonna get the PE/Techno set-up........i'm not even gonna risk taking it into the hi R's until i know everything's copacetic........so far, thats the only set-up that i like........everything else seems to introduce more parts into the system.........i want to have less parts when i'm all done..........you know the deal.......less parts, less chances for failures

Zed tried the RC's, and he ran rich......like black smoke rich......him and Max, and i think the Ultimate Z car all have the PE 380's, and doing good.......the spray pattern is way different......smaller and more holes on the PE's give it a better spray pattern.......the RC's have less holes, and the holes are bigger too

is mike doing fuel and timing flashes now too?

Mike is considering 380cc injectors and reflash for fuel and still using the DFMU for fuel delivery on boost. Last time I talked to him he was thinking about selling the car or doing the injectors, but was still torn.
