S&R single turbo kit
Here is my setup....
Thanks man, I would love to see that ride of yours!! After it was mentioned that my boost curve was "laggy" I started watching the points in which max boost was reached on the street. I was surprised to see max boost being reached at around 3500rpm. I don't know why the graph shows boost building slower on the dyno than on the street. I also asked for a conservative tune since this was the prototype DE kit for S&R. I've seen subsequent kits come out @ 7psi, that's why I was considering getting the EBC. I just don't want to risk bending a rod.

On this prototype kit we used a 5psi spring and the production kits we use a 7psi spring and this makes a big difference. we also extended the runners to make equal length on the runners. faster spool
yeah may not be hitting full boost until 5500rpms, but he making 400ft-lbs from 4500rpms - about 5200/5300rpms...and it doesn't drop that much to redline. Also that pull from 3000rpm - 4500rpm has to feel pretty DARN good!! LOL!!!
Bro dont worry about your setup, its fine. I have 02 Maxima (VQ35DE) a PTE 6266 BB turbo with .82 A/R Vband (stock internals)......graph is pretty similar to yours except my boost doesn't hold as steady as yours. The cams in the 350zs are different from the Maxima cams. Everyone was saying the same thing about mine.."ITS LAGGY" BLA BLA BLA....if it dont feel laggy to you then that's all that matters. Not everyone going to have 800whp 350zs with darton sleeves, cams with 4.1L stroker kits. You are making 416hp & 405TQ only at 6.3psi on stock internals, thats fantastic! If u want to up the boost then build the block. Don't want to see another BUSTED boosted VQ engine thread. I would not even bother with an EBC with that setup...looks good to me.

you or ashton.
Which really doesn't make sense because the argument is not everyone can have a huge build but referencing twin 67mm turbo setup and talking about not having lag is completely backwards. A single 62 should spool way before twin 67's. Compare it to all the other 6262 stock block setups here that are hitting 8psi around 3200rpms.
Not sure why the dyno doesn't show boost where it should be. Maybe the dyno settings or something. That turbo with other members boosts way before that. More like what you are seeing now on the street. low 3000 rpm range should get you around 8psi with a 6262 and stock block. If it in fact was taking that long on the street then I would be worried about an exhaust leak or boost leak causing a delay. Then I would want to fix it to get the best spool and power out of the system
. Since it looks normal on the street I'm sure there are no leaks.
