Advice welcome on next steps for vortech build
Thanks for the link, I'll read up more about a DIY oil cooler.
It does sound like it is a PITA. I would have imagined that the tank could be scaled to mitigate that somewhat, but at the same time I have heard of some cars/setups chugging though meth. Definitly things to consider.
As far as drag vs HPDE days, I am more interested in HPDE type events.

More than a couple of kits out there have low reservoir senders and you can even get flow monitors.
If you do it right, you can get it setup so it's a non issue.
Hey guys,
I picked up my car from the tuner yesterday and it feels like Christmas!
I ended up adding a fujitsubo midpipe back exhaust into the mix of new parts as the art pipes and the xyz pipe combined with the stock midpipe/muffler was barely louder than stock. I actually never believed when people said that the art pipes are barely louder than the stock cats, but it is true. The exhaust was also making some hissing sounds at certain rpm which I think may have had to do with the xyz pipe being 3" out into the smaller diameter stock midpipe. The hiss is gone now and I can finally hear the sound of the engine/exhaust over the supercharger's constant whooshing which is a welcome change.
The car pulls noticeably harder, and I feel like the drivability/ responsiveness of the engine has improved, as if the engine rev's more freely without the restrictive stock exhaust. The car also feels stronger off idle, but perhaps I am imagining that.
Here are the before and after dynos, roughly one year apart on the same dyno:

congrats on the upgrades!
FWIW, the fuji exhaust is VERY quiet, which is probably why you aren't noticing much of a difference with the test pipes. I recently switched from a fuji exhaust (i have art pipes too) and its much louder.
again, congrats on the new power!
