ConceptZ has the cd009. Brand new for $1700 seems alright. The exchange rate is like 1:1 these days...

It is alot of money for a diff, but I can't run 360whp on one tire And from what I hear the viscous diff's are pretty weak... I dunno I guess I'm thinking I have the money, why not spend a little more for some extra quality.

Definately food for thought though, I could probably find a used Tranny locally for ~$800, and a used OEM Dif for a couple hundred...HRRM, decisions decisions...

The Jury seems to be heavily in favor of getting a proper LSD:

ah, that's not a bad price for a brand new one.

You have the VLSD stock right? that is an lsd and you won't spin just 1 wheel in a burnout, it spins both. If they are weak then nobody told my car after 2 years of 650hp and 4 years over 500hp.

On a track hitting corners then I would no doubt switch out the rear end but for a DD I think it's a waste of money. I couldn't tell the difference between a car with a full lock LSD over a stock one on the streets.

Every one of those guys saying the stock one tracks their car.

The guy with the wheel spinning is just stupid if he is putting his car on an incline that lifts a tire completely in the air causing it to spin. If you get in that situation while driving you have more to worry about than traction on the tire touching the ground

Jeff, he said in the OP that he has a base model with no LSD. He doesn't have the VLSD.

If your getting the complete kits, why spend $700 on UpRev?
Wouldn't the Tuner Kits be better option? just need injectors and fuel pump.

Ya totally, in hindisght I might as well have gotten the tuner kit. Cause it looks like I'm gonna order some 600cc injectors and an InTank Walbro as well. Ah well...

The shop doing the install won't be doing the Tune, I need to drive like 2 hrs to get tuned, so there's that small benefit of having the complete kit... but ya, waste of money :/

Because I just recently bought the Vorech V3 Completed kits too.
The shop told me if I get tuner kit, they can install it and toll the car to tune shop.
But yea, I plan on just retune the SS Box, refash the ECU for 600cc injectors.

1. Let me Save You, Time, Money and Effort.....

2. Do Not Reflash ECU for 600cc Injectors.
Note: Stock Injectors will work Fine with the 3.12 Pulley, and the addition of a Walbro 255 pump.

3. Tune with the Split Second Box, and use Stock MAF.
note: SS Box works by increasing or reducing MAF Voltage Signal to ECU, thus adding or subtracting Fuel

Oh ya, by the way, you can send 1/2 the money I just saved you to my PAYPAL Account.... As for time and Effort, I need a bunch of yardwork done. haha

Haha, I'll help you with the yard work if I'm in Florida, lol.
The biggest concern I have it that I heard the SS Box can't raise my idle RPM, is there any other way I can raise idle RPM? Dealer in my area either charge $300 or they don't do it...

Thanks man, this was exactly what I was wondering. So I can stick with stock injectors + Walbro InTank Pump, and use the SSB to tune. Sweet

You don't need to raise the idle rpm with a 3.12 pulley.
