Default Timing correction, Procharger HO kit?

Anyone know how much timing to pull from the curve for the Procharger install yet? I set mine up with saftey in mind and am sure I over corrected just to be sure. Is there a "right" answer for this yet?

I have set up the timing map to pull starting at 1deg from 5800 to a progressive 11deg at 6600. Based on other post this was my best guess.

Are you using the stock injectors?

Is there any way to tap into the knock sensor on this car to see when it sees detonation? That would be a nice way to see along with the O2 sensor.

Well, my J&S unit goes in the mail tomorrow. My plan is to pull 1degree of timing per 1PSI of boost, plus an additional 2-4 degrees of redline RPM retard. I think this will be plenty safe for me. Assuming I make the advertised 7 PSI, this should make it around 9-11 total retard at redline. This however is just an educated guess.

D_Nyholm,

Swinke and myself are using the J&S Ultrasafeguard which hooks up to the stock knock sensor. It pulls additional timing when it detects knock on a per cylinder basis with up to 20 degrees of timing retard per cylinder. Theoretically you could have completely different timing setups on each cylinder with this setup.

The J& S is a great idea for timing and if anyone is interested, I may be selling mine, it's listed in the Private Classifieds.
