Default Uprev Cranking issue

hi..

my car is finally finished..
the first shop I was at was a complete disaster.. left that shop and brought to another.... to fhish..

car is great now.. runs so nice..!

2005 non-rev, 6MT
Vortech V2, 3.12pulley
600cc DW injectors
walbro pump
Uprev GT MAF
tuned with Uprev
new plugs
autometer boost gauge
Innovate AFR
MD plemum spacer
Berk HFC
Ichiba Y-pipe
Tanabe exhaust

on 94oct, car made 418whp and 349wtq at approx 8psi on a Dynapack dyno.
car runs great..

only one issue.. with the cranking when starting the car.. we cant seem to get the cranking Pulse in just the right spot..?

1. car bone cold.. starts perfect
2. car hot, turn off 10-15mins ( example in/out of a store), come back starts perfect.
3. car warm, not bone cold, but not full temp either. car has been off 1-2hrs, car takes several cranks to ignite.

car has been tuned perfect.. he spent 6hrs in total tuning on dyno plus street testing.

I went back to the tuner to try adjusting the cranking pulse.. but its still not perfect, in the mid temp range.

anyone know where this sweet spot is so it ignites perfect in all temp conditions..?

It saddens me that professional tuners are still struggling with this especially on ever-common 600cc DW's. Start by cutting all 4 pulse tables (1-4) in half from stock values, then set the main cranking table as I posted in the uprev 101 thread. Also verify injector latency and minimum pulse width is same/close to as I posted. Add some cranking timing in the trouble areas if needed. If it's still not starting perfect then he's got a fundamental issue with the lower voltage area of the MAF table. Your pro tuner can send me my Uprev consulting fee via Paypal
