I guess they don't make the plasma-cutting headlines that the some other kits do

That's a great question. I guess it's because they don't blow up?

SKK100 has a lot to say about his STILLEN blower. But, since it's all good stuff - nobody on this board cares.

This brings up a good point. Sometimes the board tends to be too negative IMO. There is a difference between questioning data and being unkind to each other. Sometimes guys get blasted on line when we should be having more civil discussions.

If I am correct, no one has blown a Stillen SC yet? I hope we can get past the subjective discussion of how we feel about how the Stillen hood looks and discuss the merits of the Stillen SC performance and reliability.

I know SKK100 has a Stillen SC and it has awesome low end torque. IMO, the stock 350Z is "peppy". Skk100's Stillen SC was beyond "peppy". I suggest you dont ride in one of these SC 350Z's unless you are ready to spend some cash because they are a rush.

Does anyone else on this forum have the Stillen kit?

Yes, while the board may tend to be negative at times, there are also alot of posts by people excited about bolting on their other kits and tuning them. Not that the Stillen kit is bad, I just have not seen too many chime in about their good experiences with the Stillen kit.(nor bad either) I am going to be getting a SC in the next few months so I am watching/studying all of the posts very carefully and I am defintely not taking the lack of bad experiences as a good sign for Stillen.

But what is the proportion of Stillen SC's sold as compared to ATI??No where near as high I bet...In fact only one person on this forum has a Stillen and like 50 ATI's so far..

I would have to disagree..I am 30...This board has been very instrumental in me modding my car(a little too much in fact)and is a well of information,if you can weed out the bs..So why wouldnt a Stillen SC'ed guy come to the largest 350z enthusiats website in the world??Cause there arent but a handfull of Stillen SC'ers around thats why..

there aren't but a handful of ATI cars too mind you......they are just quite vocal.

It's the largest in the world yes, but the numbers here are quite small considering the # of cars sold. I know juat from our own client base with Z's, 85% of them are not board members....it's not like that with other cars we cater to for some reason.

It is all relative, to me 30 years old is a young kid. I am 46.

Actually, I just lost 40lbs, began working out in the gym and better shape than in 20 years but the fact is, I am 46 not matter how you slice it! At least I am still surfing big waves in the islands!

I am 10 foot tall and bullet proof, AnywayZ
I agree with Adam on the age thing, Stillen does lots of stuff that doesn't make headlines, in fact they are working on an oil cooler and my entire body kit is Stillen, I have a buddy with a blown Z who has the Stillen exhaust and loves it. Some people just read and don't post and others just post without reading then I would go as far as to say that some here are just prospective Z owners and don't even own the car or even (GASP both hands on face) pretend to own a Z but don't just to have a place to hang, it's quite common for young people to do on large boards.
