Hello fellow Z owners, so I got my turbo installed and tuned at sound performance in Chicago. So after I got home I was driving around town and I put the car in neutral to make a stop at a sign and the car died. I tried to start it and it cranks but doesn't turn on. I can't hear my fuel pump and also the windows don't go up in the on position. Any ideas? Any help is much appreciated
they didnt install spark plugs too? they shoulda been under ur plenium working wit spark plugs and fuel injectors..look around those connections maybe? not an electronics guru..only other thing should b fuel pump but on another fuse. everything else should have been piping
I'm gonna wait and call sound performance tomorrow and see what's wired up to that circuit. The only things that don't work when that fuse is blown is the gauges (boost and afr) fuel pump and windows as far as I can tell.
Do not know why the guages would be tapped off the fuel pump power, i could understand the window motor power since that cable should be close to the A pillar.
Thanks I realized that, I only did that to get home. For a few blocks. My guess its the gauges but I can't do anything about it till tomorrow when I take it to a shop.
Called sound performance and they told me to check the connections to the gauges. Probably gonna take it to a local shop to check for connections and all tomorrow.
stop replacing it with a larger fuse as well you will do more harm than good as it could cause the computer to get too hot.
what he said....and if i were u, take it back to the shop that did the work. Dont want too many hands getting on it, then won't know who did what. good luck

That's what they said to bring it over, problem is they're 3 hours away plus I'd have to get a trailer and take a day off work. I wish I could but I just don't have the time. I'm just gonna have them look at the connections to the gauges and anything running from that fuse, hopefully it's nothing too complicated.
