I would go with EGT, boost, and a wideband for fine tuning. If your going to have it tuned by a pro you won't need to drop the ~$500 on a wideband setup.

To answer the OP question.
I have Boost and EGT. By watching my EGT for months and knowing my A/F (you can get a dyno or other means) you can learn where your A/F is at and when you are on or off boost.
So how does this help you?
Well if I see my EGT is at 8 (going lean) then I need to pay close attention to my Boost Guage and try and keep it down
(your input in this scenario would be your feet to the pedal and clutch hehe) until you find out why you are lean (high Exhaust Temps) you can keep the boost off or low.
So my vote is EGT Boost which is what I have.
If you didn't have these? You wouldn't know you were lean, you wouldn't know what level of boost you were at.
I bought a new engine and wanted to break it in. I would have never known when I was making +1 or more boost w/o the guage right? You hear it kick in but do you know exactly how much you just made? No. What is iroinic is the boost guage is what I see most SCer uses here getting LAST!
Live and Learn as you can see you can spend 250 on guages or 2500.00 it's up to you, the important thing is to buy guages you can learn to use effectively which is what I did with my setup.

My only concern is where to put them that will be both functional and reasonable looking. I saw a post where someone took the trip, oil, and volt gauges out and mounted different gauges in there place. That looked real good but I don't want to lose the tps or oil preasure gauges. My nav has an Alpine 760 monitor in it so of course I don't want to lose that. Where did you mount yours? Do you have any pics?

Sounds like you are stuck with a pillar. I have a 7 inch flip up touch screen NAV/DVD/Camera,
I can't see my guages when it is up so it's either or.
Of course I don't race with the flap up so it works out for me.
When I am in the 11's with my A/F I have never went above 7 on my GReddy EGT even when on boost (7 lbs or under of course.)

Nice install. I agree I don't want to mess with the stock gauges either. A pillar is an idea. Of course the HKS Camp system though azreal said the system was gimmicky looking and I have to admit the pictures on the HKS website do look rater cheesy. I guess I'd have to see it in person.

Have a good car audio installer fabricate you a place, they put a center channel 4.5 inch Kenwood speaker in my dash and installed my guages, if you use electrical guages they should do a good job. After all it's just like building a kick panel when you think about it right?

And cylinder 6 isn't farthest from the pump is it? It's closer.
You have me lost Adam, this is returnless and cylinder #6 is top right driver the pump is in the passenger compartment.

narkotic- we use Defi almost exclusively at the shop...awesome gauges overall, and loads of options for the money...they also offer some stuff noone else does, such as the LINK Display and the new Heads Up display.

That's 6 Adam but it's closer to the fuel pump than the forward ones because the pump is behind the passenger seat and there isn't a FPR next to it. The reason I jumped in is because I may be in the market for an FPR. Gotta quote

I haven't checked the manual just looked under the seat and didn't see one (access panel) so if we have one then I would want to see if I can use it with a Walbro 155 and if not why?

right...pum is behind pass seat..if you look at the rail desing, the fuel comes in on passenger side and there is a tube that connects the 2 rails along with a fuel dampener.

The Crawford plenum? No, there is no way to chage the stock fuel line layout, though there are ways to improve it.....how necessary that is, really depends on how far you intend to take the car I suppose.
As for the FPR, my manual makes mention of one though I cannot seem to find one....obviously there must be something in the system to keep pressure at a set level, though I have not been in my fuel pump area yet to know how the car does what it does.
