I meant does the Crawford change the fact that one cylinder seems to be leaner than others? A survey should be taken because it evens out the air I wonder if that changes the fuel areas? Just sorta talking out loud.

When you find the FPR let me know, I am being told I need one if I go larger on my fuel pump and was told I don't have one. My thoughts were if I did have one already I should be able to just drop that Walbro 155 in there and save 260 bucks shouldn't I?

I think the ECU is controlling the Fuel right now and the pulse and duration to the injectors , mine are 380cc's anyways we are off track and hijacked lol.

Intersting idea...if anything it might exxgerae it more, if that cylider normally sees "less" airflow..having never seen the flybench rsults myself, I am not even sure how dramatic this is o the stock plenum to be honest. Then again, the ecu might compensate with the extra fuel....who knows

So the VQ cylinders are labeled opposite of the norm? I thought from looking at the car from the front the driver side left cylinder is #1 and works its way to the rear with the front passenger side is #2. Then back to the drivers side for 3 and so on. What is the firing order of the VQ?

thats why I am unsure about honestly....I still have not seen a diagram labelling the cylinders or the firing order......I know which one is furthest (per my technical drawing above ), and I think 12sec said that was #6..I am honestly unsure

If it is anything like other V motors then the #6 is the cylinder closest to the passenger seat.

It was that friggen 46 page thread though, I will find it because it was wrong the first time it was posted.

Yeah I was looking around searching for other stuff and came across that too. I have nothing to prove that it is the other way around. It is correct that the 1 and 2 cylinders are in the front but every motor I have seen have the 1 cylinder on the driver side.

cool,

Can you post a pic like that that shows the FPR setup?

Pretty neat! EJ came over and I am consistant 9-10 pounds now instead of 11, we dropped one tooth but more importantly my EGT temps dropped 200 degrees celsius so far. Belt is very tight.
I am leaning towards more fuel, need research on the FPR I know I am sold on that 155 drop in.
Thanks again bro.

The regulator is not adjustable if that is what you are looking for. I got an extra copy of the FSM from InsaneAmine when I got his grounding kit if anyone wants it I can send it for the cost of postage.

So I guess you can't just drop a Walbro in there then. I hate Nissan , That isn't what I saw at RB but I was just looking at the stock pump out of the car, that looks like a one peice contraption assembly, after market would be two seperate units. Sigh.... More money....

i wish the frickin service manual would talk about the FPR in any kind of detail whatsoever!!!!

if we could see what was going on with it there might be a way to modify it for greater flow, since its non-adjustable

I have been looking at the FSM and it appears that the pump assembly must remain since it contains the fuel level sending unit. The up side is as far as I can tell is that the ECU only controls if the pump is either on or off. Unless I am over looking anything, any pump will work as long as you disable/reroute the OEM pump voltage and allow it to flow freely. Here is the electrical diagram:
