My vintage aluminum bowl showed up today!! Perfect fit and about 3/32" thick, good enough to weld I just need to sand off the paint they used.

Here is the manifold cleaned up ready for the plenum. I should have the plenum on it by this weekend.

youll never complete this! in for the final results, those VR6's sound mean as hell on boost haha, but why not R32 motor on boost if youre shooting for 600-700 i know they do that fairly regularly haha. but good luck sir, i like the idea!

The hard part is done, it's smooth sailing from here on out.

R32 motor is $2K for a used one and you still have to build it to make 800WHP. The 12V has way more aftermarcket support and a lot less expensive to work with. R32 is "better", but a Ford Pinto does 45mph the same as a Lambo does 45mph; One just cost much less to get to the result.

Seems like when you've got that much power and stock gearing you should just start in 2nd.

Here are a few more shots of the manifold going together. I still have a few more things to do but it's going to do the trick when it's done.

^^ didn't fit so it had to get sectioned off? Looks like there might be enough room if the runners were L shaped and the manifold were closer to the engine?

EDIT could have also removed that 2nd firewall.

Or install a different final ratio like most big power guys do.

Sorry for the delay in response, I was on a business trip for work.

Yes, the manifold is tapered down in the back section on purpose; this helps even the flow between ports. It also helped the manifold fit. I also redirected the intake so it points right to the air intake opening in the front core support.

Great read here: http://josephrinek.com/intakemanifold.html

I may use an Automatic rear diff to help with that.

3.3fd+35 profile tires (assuming you're using 18" wheels) and sticky rubber and you'll probably be set

I'd go with something like a 305/40 or 305/45 even if going for big power.

I'm going to put as much rubber as I can, including sidewall.

Agree. Eltness350z is running 45 side walls which is a 29" tire.

just gotta be careful my 305/35/18's rub a little in hard turns im gona cut the quarters and widen em a little for now, looking at 325/40/18s but with my wheels that is likely gona rub both sides a little

do the same concepts of a n/a manifold apply to a pressurized turbo manifold?
