Hey guys so im new to the forum Ive been lurking around for awhile now and finally decided to post and share my build , wont be much compared to others i've seen but enjoy
feel free to post any opinions


First here is my Z

i then start investing into a turbo kit and after many months on the forums, youtube, internet i decided to go with the momentum turbo kit well after i decide to bite the bullet i find out they went out of business

but its nice to have connections right?
anyways loan behold i got my hands on one of the last Brand new kits from National speed thanks to a buddy of mine named Jeremiah many of you know him on the forum as ( Total D )

Good luck with the build. I was going to get the Momentum kit but Z1 gave me a deal on GReddy twins that I couldn't pass up. :P

 

Wow, impressive (talking about the redhead).

Looks like it will be a sweet build. As I've seen others recommend, oil cooler. Turbos really like to heat up oil...

 

Glad to see you getting this kit finally put on. I'm down in Louisiana right now, ill be back Monday. I just started pulling everything off my Z . Time for the new build as well. If you need anything else just let me know. Otherwise ill stop by and see how the progress is coming along. It'll be nice to see yours on the road. Stay away from ditches and curbs lol.

did you save some additional money for wheel replacement? I can barely see the rear wheels. what are they 8.5" 40+ offset? nice build btw

haha thanks and this made me laugh yeah man i have some money saved for rims and tires but im saving it just incase i need some thing else or something breaks along the way so that way im not in a bind
as of now they are 18x9.5's with a +38 offset and 245/45/18's
seeking 18x10.5 +20 with at least 285's

You are so lucky to get the last remaining Momentum Perfomance Kits...I saw Jordan's (National Speed) post about it on Facebook. But I'm glad to see a fellow Texan got his hands on it. I would've loved to get a hold of one for my G35.

as far as wheels i do not have them on the way yet as for im still budgeting them in. im thinking about getting the TSW interlagos because they look the same as the ones i got just will fit proper and can get a nice tire on them but i havnt decided and am considering all options
if anyone wants to post some wheels they have/like pics or whatever all opinions accepted

Ha thanks chris ! unfortunately i routed the wastegate back into the exhaust but if i dont like it ill probually end up dumping it in near future
and yeah of course whenever your ready send them my way

Good progress! Can't wait to see a vid on it when it's done or in person whenever my car team goes to Dallas for a show.

I think I may have missed it but what Ems are you running and is it your stock block?

Where's your final Dyno Sheet?

This will let some of us know if your tune is properly done by how the A/F ration was throughout the power band and how the PSI was as well.

Also... if you bought the AEM Boost gauge I hope you spent a bit more and got the Tru Boost Gauge.
