I covered it after the picture anyway.

Taking a break right now... have one more wire to take off and a pain in the *** coolant line that won't come off. Then I'm taking the exhaust off and pulling the engine out. Should be able to finish tonight fairly easily.

Do you have the power stering line relocation?
In my case I didn't have it and had to do a custom line :/
Just curious if your kit include it?

Didn't have the chance to finish up last night. I finished taking off the fuel system, the rest of the wiring, and all of the coolant lines though. I'm free now so I'm going to take off the exhaust right now, which is the last thing besides the trans that is connected. I planned to drop the engine off on Feb 1st so I'm in pretty good shape.

Update: Motor pulled and dropped off at C-Tech. I did it without pulling the trans... it probably would have been easy if I had but I didn't have anyone available to help. Also just letting the shop take apart the heads and everything under the timing cover because I didn't have time.

Sorry for no updates, but there really haven't been many. The engine is supposed to be done this upcoming week. The bottom end and heads are both done but I just got the L19s in the mail today. I dropped them right back in the mail so C-Tech should get them Monday or Tuesday. I bought the rest of the supporting mods for this phase of the project: ARP L19 head studs, DW 600cc injectors, CJM stage 1 FRS w/ a Walbro 255, a Mishimoto radiator, and a master set of blue silicone hoses from Z1.

All I have left to buy is downpipes, an exhaust, and gauges. Anyone know someone besides Forged that sells AAM 3" downpipes w/ open dumps for less than $900? Or am I just going to have to bite the bullet and drop another grand on downpipes? I'd be willing to look into other brands but I haven't really found any. Thanks in advance.

Try Concept Z for the AAM downpipes.

Due to extremely limited time (between pursuing a research job at U of M, moving cities tomorrow, and a trip to China planned for May 28th), I'm letting Dynosty finish it off. Driving it down Friday night to meet Hal on Saturday. Here are some pictures of parts and progress though, the engine is ready to be dropped in:

Engine:

GReddy RS exhaust:

SGP downpipes:

CJM stage 1 fuel return:

DW 1000cc injectors:
